My son loves this kite but he is twice his size and I think he likes it as a flying challenge. Beautiful deep purple color with black dots makes these things look amazing. It's so big my 8 year old can't hold it and has a tail attached to it that's easily 6 feet long. The strings are strong and properly attached so I don't see the strings popping out like some of these plastic kites. It comes with a pulley that you use to let your kite fly. It's not one of those tiny sizes - we actually need a big panel to use it and get all the effects out of it.
