This is a great kite. I tried flying it, but with no instructions on how to assemble (very little) but the paper which I think were instructions was in Chinese. There were two sets of strings but no explanation as to why there were 2. Can someone please supply English instructions? It's strings get tangled very easily, but it does look cool when flying it, but it doesn't stay up very long. I think there should be instructions. The other kite I ordered did.

I got finally flew it yesterday. I flew it on the one year anniversary of my moms celebration of life and it happened to be Mothers day as well. She loved flying kites and tying a bunch of string together to get them out so far you could barely see them. So I decided to attach this to my Muskie trolling rod that has like 700 yards of braided line on it and towed it behind my boat. Mom would have been sooooo excited to see that. Literally the easiest kite - just tie the string and you’re set. Was easy to get up and stay up. Also found that it was very durable. My grandson let go of the string and it took off for the trees - ended up in some palm trees and we had to yank the string so hard to get it out.thought it would be ripped but it wasn’t. Went right back to flying. They call it an octopus but looks like a squid and moved like a squid in the ocean. So cute!

Looked cool for the first 5 minutes then could not control, adjustments are difficult due to the string they used. That's my feedback!

Exactly as expected and then some looks great in the air and is larger then I expected got many complaints and you can’t beat the price!

I bought this kite to fly at the field outside the El Morro fort while in Puerto Rico. In 20 knot winds it launched easily and then hung out at the end of the string, eyes flapping and slowly drifting back and forth for the entire time we were there. This is a fantastic single string kite.

I got this octopus kite in purple for my little girl. She really wanted to fly a kite, so I decided to surprise her for doing well in school. Made of this very lightweight material. She likes it and when we took it out to the park to fly it, to my surprise it flew pretty well despite only just a small breeze. Can't wait for the next windy day so we could really let this kite go.

Bought this for a long weekend at the beach. It was a hit! And this thing basically flies itself. Takes very little breeze to get it aloft, and then it just stayed there for hours. I just tied it to a rock and left it flying all afternoon. Looks great!

This thing flies so easy. Just toss it up and it's off. It comes with string so you can attach it within a min and you're flying a kite like a pro. A lot of reviews say they attached string and it flew fine.My kite did not fly fine, I had to work with the length of string to get it to fly properly.it started out flying wildly from side to side and crashing.The string provided is not strong enough, had to go by a spool of heavier string with longer length, also bought my own wind up spool for easier the up and take down.don't buy this kite if you are not willing to work on it, take your chance if it flies properly out of the package.

Used this kite in Aruba.where there are strong trade winds. Previous kites broke and the strings snapped due tp the wind. This kite was sooo much easier to take out and launch. Dried swiftly after bringing it down in the water too!
