I, like some other reviewers, have had no luck when it comes to charging devices with this solar panel. Over the course of a week, I ran multiple experiments day after day on different devices to see what results I could get. Remember that this all happened in California, on days without a single cloud in the sky, in places where the sun is not obscured at all. (Central yard with no trees, plants, fences, or houses blocking the light.) 1) I started with a high-capacity battery that displays four blinking lights to get an idea of its overall charge level. After charging from 10am to 5pm for a full day, I went from a blinking light to a blinking light. 2) I thought that this is a fairly large capacity battery, so it takes a lot to charge it a quarter in a day with just sunlight, so the next time I took a smaller battery that had a percentage display and was dead . he charged my phone to 89% and then took it out. He was there in four or five hours. 89%3) I thought the solar panel might have overheated as it was sitting on a dark metal surface in bright sunshine, so the next day I put it on a slightly shaded brick surface. Same results. 4) I thought that maybe the cable or a specific battery was the problem, so over the next few days I tried several different cables and batteries (please don't ask me how many batteries I have, the count is embarrassing), but in the end I already thought that the solar panel was not working at all, which would be a very disappointing result! Airpod Headphones. I drained the charge in the case to about half and hooked it up to the solar panel while I was gardening. An hour later, they regained about 20% of their charge. So it REALLY works. But maybe not for everything, maybe not without a really good cable, or maybe not very fast. However, if you're in a pinch and there's no other way to add some extra juice to your phone, a small radio, or maybe one of those USB flashlights that you can charge up and then carry around, this helps. As hurricane season approaches, there is a case for this kind of flexibility. For the price if that's what you're looking for I think it's worth it. (I'd really, really like to know how anyone got their iPad to charge with this thing.)
