Product works great but it should be cheaper! The profits from this kind of products must be huge. All of these filters are made of thick polyester fiber with a plastic rim at the top. These are some of the best in quality, but three of them cost $40. Price aside, they work very well. After a few months I have to throw them out because after so many washes they fill up with dirt very quickly and lose their ability to filter water at a normal rate causing the filter sock to overflow with water. They also reduce water flow noise compared to using a lay-flat polyester mat as a filter.
