I was told I need a DVI-VGA cable as my HDMI1 port disappeared on my old Dell computer. Didn't know there were different types of DVI connectors. I took a picture of my port and as far as I could see it looked like this. After not working for a long time I finally tried installing it to find out it wouldn't work - wrong DVI - I googled and found I need DVI-D. Now I found that I can't return it because the deadline has passed. So before ordering, check what you really need. Sometimes pictures lie.
