One of my kids has been swimming for a while and has finally asked for a swim cap. I ordered this hat, in short. She loves it! She is 12 years old. The first time she took a white hat out of her bag, she threw it at me and said it didn't fit her because it looked too small. What she didn't realize, however, was that it had to be a little small to fit snugly around her head. So I tried it on and the wouser, it fills nice and safe but I can't swim. My daughter grabbed her hair and twisted it so lift it up to her head. She took a white swim cap and turned it part way round then put it on her head and then straightened it just a little and her hair shaft was gathered and covered and she was about to swim. After she got out of the water and swam for about 1.5 hours I didn't see her adjust her hat, that's good! After class she took off the blanket and to our surprise her hair was nice and dry, even a little wavy. Rschunimagu. Her ears had some moisture, but neither she nor I was concerned. She likes the white cap very much and now wishes for a black one to match her school uniform for the swimming competition.
