Review on Personal Vibration Massager Women Waterproof by James Gibson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good, reliable vibration massage settings. Slightly lower battery capacity = lower price.

This is a very comfortable standard size massager. It has many speeds and patterns (8 speeds and 20 patterns/modes). The body is covered with soft, high-quality silicone material, except for the stainless steel collar at the base of the handle. The silicone has an etched texture intended primarily for cosmetic/aesthetic appeal and not to improve grip. There are three buttons on the handle. The bottom button with the power symbol activates the massage stick with one press. The top button with vertical lines provides access to 8 speeds, the middle button toggles 20 patterns/modes. To turn off, press the power button again. The buttons light up red when they are switched on. During the pattern, the light will flicker, simulating the pattern. At different speeds, the light remains constant. In the dark, the light is very easy to find and the buttons to operate. (see attached photos for an example of a burning button in low light) The motor provides powerful vibration massage. The neck is a bit flexible, so you can apply different pressures with a vibrating massage stick. This increases the effect of the vibration massage. At the base/bottom of the handle is an entry for the charging pin. This is a self-healing silicone connector that collapses when the pin is removed. This makes the stick waterproof. The battery capacity of the stick is specified as 500 mA. According to the user manual, it takes one hour to charge an empty battery after one hour of use. Battery capacity and runtime are among the lowest I've come across for this type of product. However, one hour should be sufficient for most applications. (Actual running time depends on speed/pattern used, load and other environmental factors. Calculate lower actual running time.) Real image photos are attached, with ruler for size reference. At $11, this is on the low end for a massager. In terms of size, material quality and number of speeds and patterns, this is very good value for money. However, the relatively low battery capacity contributes to the lower price. It can be a good compromise as it offers a fairly durable massage stick with useful run time at a low price. According to the product description and user manual, the wand is 100% waterproof. However, they do not offer a water resistance rating. In my opinion, IPX7 is really waterproof. However, some companies have more liberal standards for impregnation. Since they don't give an actual rating I would assume it's not IPX7 and can't be used in a shower or bath. It's probably "waterproof" enough to be washed under the tap. All in all, these are very good features at a good price. The only caveat is that you'll likely need to charge it frequently (especially if it's used a lot). Based on these concepts, it gets a rating of 4.25 stars.
