It's undoubtedly an expensive kit, but it's definitely well built and does what it says on the tin. Of course, given the investment that serious gamers want to make with this purchase, it's absolutely necessary. The ergonomics are great, the rear petals feel solid, stable and clicky as you would expect. Button remapping is easy to do with the included instructions, and you don't need a crazy paid third-party app to use the feature. The textured handles are a nice touch if you want that option. Really lets you lose control of your controller so you never have to worry again. The D-Pad and buttons are nicely textured and work well, the "hair triggers" are great for games like Battlefield and Call of Duty as they significantly reduce the travel distance compared to Sony's OEM controller. However, these "hair triggers" are not ideal for use in other games such as racing games or other games that require slower, more precise presses of the L2 and R2 buttons. Replacing joysticks is incredibly easy with this controller, and it comes with a host of additional options. My only criticism of this controller has to do with the material these mini joysticks are made of. I just feel the texture is less grippy than the OEM controller joysticks. If I were to suggest a change, I would suggest using a more textured sticky material for the thumbsticks as a suggestion for improvement to the supplier.
