I don't think I've ever seen my 8 year old son love an article of clothing more than these shoes. He is delighted with them and constantly wears them at home. He even wore them to bed with his pajamas. He says they are very comfortable and warm (just right for winter). They appear to be of a very high quality and are exactly the same level of quality as the adults my wife has and loves. These don't wear out quickly. They have a rubber core and a microfleece lining inside, They support his feet around the house or on quick walks in the fresh air and keep his feet warm in the lining. They come down to about mid-calf, which he loves as it offers even more warmth. He also says that the sole of the shoe is very comfortable and cushions his feet as he walks. He says it's like walking on clouds. They even say they are machine washable in cold water, which is great since he wears them all the time. As an added bonus, the box has a sticker stating that these slippers have been worn by NASA astronauts on missions for decades. My son is obsessed with these and calls them his astronaut shoes, probably another reason he wears them so often. Worth buying, especially for the winter.
