I bought the official connection cable after trying several different cables from other vendors (KRX, KIWI, Anker) and they all lacked something. The anchor was too short, the KRX only supported USB 2.0 due to the length and it's not an active cable and KIWI doesn't charge fast enough since it was USB-A. The cable thing changed all that, this active USB-C to C extender keeps my headset almost fully charged. I've been playing for a good two hours and I still have 90-91% of my quest left. And my data rates are fantastic! With KRX I had around 380-400 MB/s, the official communication cable was 1.8 Gb/s and KIWI was 2.1 Gb/s. The last question you probably have is how flexible the cable is. It's not as flexible as the official link, but it's the closest cable I've tested. It's pretty flexible, just run a zip tie or zip tie through the side and then behind the headset strap and let the cable run down your back without even noticing.
