Review on πŸ”Š GM Genuine Parts 25994310 Radio Speaker Amplifier: The Ultimate Silver Sound Upgrade by Dale Toth

Revainrating 5 out of 5

CHEVY five-year backup plan.

Bought for a 2010 Chevy Traverse, last year the BOSE head unit failed (and the navigation well before that), it was driving me crazy not to have a radio. Think about a new stereo navigation. I would have avoided that car just because it didn't have a radio. Then your kids will think it's a good idea to turn on the radio on their phones. I still think it's nonsense, it only took 5 years. BOSE has always been a symbol of quality. I guess that's why Chevy is now releasing one of its own vendors. The head is heated under the dash and is always on as the turn signal and all the bells and whistles come from this head. Replacement is made easier with a speed hex driver, flipout, DC and a nutroscope to see the top screw from behind. Most of the time you only feel what you are doing when changing under the pedals on the driver's side. It works and I no longer have to listen to the radio on my cell phone.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
