Great product at Car Audio

Perfect fit and functionality for the 2010 Traverse. Getting the old one out was a challenge. This is what you need to block out a few hours and stock up on Neosporin for scratched wrists.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Secret

It worked. for amp

When I selected the model number of the amp, Revane said it didn't fit my 2013 GMC Acadia Denali. The model numbers matched the amp I took out. Installed and it works like clockwork.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Modern

Works in 2014 GMC Acadia

My radio has stopped working. It turns out that this model year is notorious for leaks in the driver's side windshield seal, which can allow water to get into your booster. Ordered it came quickly and my husband changed it and now the radio works like new.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Minor issues

Exact replacement amp

I bought an amp to replace my 2015 traverse. After watching a few YouTube videos on uninstall/install, I decided to pay a radio store to do it. Well worth the $60.00 fee. Bose system like new.

Pros
  • price
Cons

White rabbit hiss from dash speakers

Chevy Traverse amp needed replacing, boomy hiss from dash speakers. It's under the driver's side - very tight to get in. I recommend a flexible extension and a 7mm ratchet with a regular and deep socket.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works great as an amplifier replacement

There is a GMC Acadia that had no sound with indicators, door warning, reversing camera and of course the radio. So the amp is dead. The dealer quoted $450 to replace the amp and almost $450 more for labor and taxes to install it. I bought this amp and installed it at an auto repair shop. It took about an hour to make and cost $85 to install. Everything works great again. If you're having the same symptoms with your car, save your time and money and go the route I did.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are new competitors

CHEVY five-year backup plan.

Bought for a 2010 Chevy Traverse, last year the BOSE head unit failed (and the navigation well before that), it was driving me crazy not to have a radio. Think about a new stereo navigation. I would have avoided that car just because it didn't have a radio. Then your kids will think it's a good idea to turn on the radio on their phones. I still think it's nonsense, it only took 5 years. BOSE has always been a symbol of quality. I guess that's why Chevy is now releasing one of its own vendors…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

No radio or turn signal sound

If your radio has lost sound but still has power, this could be the solution. It also controls turn signal and doorbell tones. Not sure what caused the failure, no sign of water under the dash where it is installed, but there was water in the tailgate wiring harness between the door and the body (2011 GMC Acadia SLT). I cut off the rubber boots at the bottom to keep the water from pooling again. I don't know where this water comes from and how to fix it. The first replacement of the amplifier…

Pros
  • Nice job
Cons
  • Hard to tell
