Review on NORTY Toddler Boys' Girls' Unisex Suede Leather Moccasin Slippers - Fits 2 Sizes Smaller by Eric Weber

Let me start by saying I've had my eye on these slippers for a long time. For my son's birthday I finally broke down and decided to buy two different pairs: a chocolate colored pair in a size 7 (my son is currently a size 6.5 so I decided to buy a little bigger so he could enjoy it longer ) and a size 9 chestnut pair for him to enjoy next year. He JUST turned two years old and a quick google search for "what size shoes does a three year old wear?" led to my decision to buy a size 9 for next year. We first received a size 7 in chocolate and I couldn't wait to open it. I had very high expectations based on other reviews and photos, but unfortunately the size 7 had many flaws. Padding and lint leaked out of numerous seams, split seams, and holes in various places. Although I think they are still brand new, they had many flaws. When I went to try them on they were so tiny I couldn't even put them on his little feet! I couldn't believe I ordered half a size larger than his current size and they were too small to fit?!? It was stupid. A few more days passed and we received a size 9 in chestnut and these were the slippers I dreamed of for him! They were absolutely spotless. the fur was beautiful, the seams were all intact, I literally could not find a single flaw on these slippers. It was everything I imagined I would get slippers in the first round! These slippers fit him perfectly and I was very surprised to compare them to a pair of our tennis shoes that don't even fit him yet. This is a size 8 pair of Sketchers and when I put them next to the size 9 Norty moccasins I was very surprised to see that the size 8 tennis shoes were significantly larger than the size 9 slippers! That said, my 5 star rating is ONLY based on a pair of size 9 maroon loafers I purchased. Although the sizing is totally wrong in my opinion, the quality of these moccasins is wonderful. I would rate the first pair a 2 as unfortunately my expectations were not met, but I really think this pair was just a fluke. Unfortunately I can't reach Revain due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but I really hope Northy and Revain can help fix it later and bring back more updates later! Overall I would still recommend these slippers as they are very high quality moccasins which are absolutely gorgeous in person. HOWEVER, I highly recommend ordering at least one size up (if not two!).
