In my current house there are no outside sockets. Last Christmas I had to run extension cords from my house through two windows to power my front and back Christmas lights and porch. It lets in cold air. Everything just got a whole lot easier this year with these simple "plug-in adapters”. I just have to turn on the light on the porch. That works great.
