Review on πŸ‹οΈ G-Shock GBD800UC-8: The Ultimate Fitness Watch with Unbeatable Features by Bill Kodba

Revainrating 2 out of 5

not well suited for training and fitness

Gshock is needed for longevity and some common functions like backlight, time, date, water resistance and stopwatch. What this promises is step counting and GPS-like tracking. Every time you want to see the numbers you have to turn your wrist quickly to make them light up. You MUST contact the setup system each morning to reset this feature. SLOWLY send footsteps to your phone. You will spend most of the day wondering if it really counts your progress. ONCE, and ONLY once, I saw a map-like display of my movements on my phone screen, I NEVER found it again. If you want GPS, if you want step count and heart rate, buy a Garmin or Suunto. Spend extra $$$ You know how much I paid and this is my loss. Looks good, fails, but it's EXACTLY $44 for the 'regular model' because the extra features are patchy, temporary, and difficult to use.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Security
