Review on πŸ”Œ Arduino Stepper Controller Module by Qunqi by Stephen Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not the latest technology but works great for my application

Must be used to control a stepper motor in both single step and "continuous" mode. It doesn't microstep (which I don't want), but its enable inputs allow PWM to be used to reduce the magnetic field duty cycle, greatly limiting stepper motor heat and noise. It doesn't automatically turn off motor power when you're not using it, but you can do it in software (which I do), the heatsink barely heats up with a NEMA 23 stepper motor. It's built into the water treatment system anyway for microdosing my external plumbing connections (hoses and sprinklers) with polyphosphate to bind iron. It comes into play whenever we use outside water and has been an integral part of the system for over nine months. Would buy again, it's a great price and its limitations can easily be remedied with a little software.

Pros
  • Controls and Indicators
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
