Before ordering these items it is important to know where and how you intend to use them. Crystals appear on sticky tape that has the consistency of rubber glue. This allows strips to be placed in neat rows on hard surfaces. However, if you need to use them individually, like we did for our wedding invitations, this will cause some problems. Since our invites were a bit shiny, the glue didn't stick as well as we'd like and we were concerned that the crystals might shift in the mail. Instead of the supplied adhesive strips we decided to use some PVA glue, removing the crystals from the back and sticking them one by one with tweezers. It worked pretty well and we didn't have any adhesion issues after that. I tried attaching the crystal to a more porous paper and had no problems, so I think our invitation paper had the most problems. These are great products but make sure you know how you will be using them and test them for adhesion before embarking on a larger project.
