This product is as described: solid construction and very easy installation without having to cut further drywall or repair to the attic (assuming it's a replacement). The only downside, as some other reviewers point out, is the wires that run through the top. The knock out holes for this are designed and positioned in such a way that it can be a bit difficult and uncomfortable to pull wires through. However, overall it is a very good product and I will not be using it in the future unless something better comes along. with Phillips head, which makes screwing in easier and virtually eliminates the need to remove heads. The model without the fan bracket is identical to this one except for the metal bracket and these screws. If you get a model without fan support I would suggest replacing those 3 screws with either hex screws or torx screws.
