This fan kit is well made. Large rubber grommets for fan blades and rubber spacers on the ceiling. Beautiful glass all around E26 A15 bulbs. (Reviewers who say these are "candelabra bulbs" are wrong, they are standard E26 bulbs, they are only short because they are A15 bulbs, not A19, and those Bulb temp is 3000K which may be too white for people who prefer warm white (2700K) Unfortunately at the highest speed there is still a transformer hum generated by the coils in the motor which is transmitted to the ceiling and fan blades. The ceiling mount uses rubber feet which are probably too strong to ensure adequate noise isolation between the ceiling mount and the ceiling but after 2 hours of installation I didn't feel like doing it all over again Hunter should rework the ceiling mount to provide better vibration isolation to keep the hum from being transmitted to the ceiling I'm not sure how much hum is getting to the ceiling fan blades tors transferred? given a light object with a large surface area that acts as a speaker, such as a B. a ceiling or slats. Despite Hunter's claim of "wind whisper technology" their motors hum like any other AC motor, with a distinctive 60Hz tone and its harmonics of 120Hz, 240Hz etc. The difference is that they actually do well with the use of vibration isolating parts . but that's not enough. For a hundred bucks I wasn't expecting a hum and was disappointed. My fan was a little wobbly, but I was able to use the included balance kit to find the best spot to place a weight, which eliminated the wobble. Please do this with your fan, in just 20 or 30 minutes you will be free from years of staggering. The Chinese woodworking company they use for the blades appears to make blades of different weights, which is disappointing.
