I have a 15" Macbook Retina Pro. The cover and base fit PERFECTLY. It's just a simple snap on (make sure you clean the top and bottom of your macbook first though!). The keyboard cover simply lays over the original keyboard. It's takes some getting used to with having the cover on because the keys get slightly raised. But it's nice to keep all the dust and other misc out of my keys.and I have blue keys now. Definitely a decent, inexpensive option to customize your macbook a little bit.
