I installed this a few days ago. I used to have fiber optic cables in the door panels (BMW car) so I connected the new heads to the old fiber optic pipe. Glows brighter than the original and now not monochromatic. Since I had the whole tube left, I decided that I would make the fifth optical head around the dash. Well the gaps in my dash were too big so I figured I'd go all over the roof of the car where the headliner meets the sides. I wasn't sure if this would work because of all the kinks. The lights are very bright and even illuminate the entire ceiling of my car. It's darker on the opposite side, of course, but I'm so impressed I even lit it up to the max. I only have a few complaints and they are more like suggestions. The music settings work well, but the microphone is fairly sensitive and picks up road noise as well. And you can't dim the lights when adjusting the music, or speed up or slow down the fades or jumps. Many LED strings are available. I also wish it could flash solid colors. But to be honest, all the settings work fine. The power cord to the box could have been a bit longer and possibly the cords themselves. I routed my cords into the dash to get to the opposite side but it was a straight shot so the cords for the 'short' distance a little short. The rear cables were quite long.
