I use it to brush my cat. This has been his best and most reliable effort to date. I also have one in the shower but the head often falls off the handle so I have to hold it somewhere on the side. However, water can often collect under the stubble if I don't start it at the right angle. Then it changes color or something else bad happens and I don't like having it around anymore. Hence I would say that it should have a stronger attachment to the trunk; If the rating were for humans, it would probably be a four.
