As already mentioned, this system has a number of important advantages. Wired surveillance cameras do not need to be charged, the images are clear and easy to set up. Your images can easily be displayed on a TV or computer screen for home monitoring. Notifications can be sent via email etc. The problem is that the DVR has a hard time maintaining an internet connection. In the year and a half, almost two years that I have owned this system, I would say that this system has been 85% offline from every remote system. I've spent countless hours trying to troubleshoot connectivity issues and contacted tech support multiple times. I was never able to contact them in a timely manner and none of the 'fixes' they offered took more than a week. This system would have gotten 5 stars if the dash cam had had a reliable connection to the internet and therefore to the app, but I could never rely on that. I've been patient with this system and have been trying to get it working for 2 years, but I'm going to buy a new system next week.
