Won't charge my iPhone 12 Pro-Max

I gave it 2 stars, one star for the price and another star for the cable length. However, the charger did not charge/charge my phone. I showed it charging, but the percentage didn't go up - the percentage actually went down. Too bad you have to send it back. I really wanted to work.
