when buying meze 12 classcis, I expected to get a portable version of the full-size 99 classics model, which I also have and in general is very satisfied (well, sometimes I lower the midbass when I'm tired of hearing it, okay). but these! a solid middle that covers everything that is possible ! without an equalizer, you can more or less listen to only genres such as folk, classical and any easy listening. styles of music with overdriven guitar are very hard to listen to. everything turns into a mess because of the protruding middle. only the equalizer saves (on the photo, my settings in foobar2022). After setting it up, everything sounded great! lo and behold, bass appeared: fast, tangible, juicy (I'm not a basshead). various details became even better audible. on my favorite kings of convenience, listened to the holes, I heard new details and nuances! Now, if only these ears were configured by default. about the wooden case. I had to change the first ears under warranty (thanks to Dr. Head, everything is on top as always) due to a cracked case on one of the headphones. on the second model, small flaws are visible, but not so critical, so that's the norm. changed to the same ones, because didn't have time to listen to them. Now I think that I changed to another model.
