Review on ⌚ Charles Hubert Paris Stainless Quartz Watch - Model 3599B by Maurice Branch

This Charles Hubert Paris pocket watch is a great product. We ordered and received them within a week. So far it looks as advertised. It was packaged in a beautifully wrapped box and then in a luxury watch box. The stainless steel surface of the watch was shiny and scratch-free. The dial, which is easy to read compared to the Roman numerals, stood out well against the black background we chose. The pocket clip chain was supplied separately but looked good and was easy to attach. The unit was off at the exact time we received it, but we reinstalled it and have had no problems since. It is heavy in the hand, but qualitatively not too difficult to handle. Make sure you hold the top down every time you open and close the watch face - DO NOT squeeze it or release it quickly when opening and closing. Closing the watch makes a loud/hard click. This results in the watch being difficult to open/close and the mechanism may break over time. Instead, hold it down, hold it, and gently open and close your face each time, then release the button. You will have a quieter click as it opens and closes. This will give longevity. We've read about it, so let's do it right this time. My husband has bought a good 1/2 dozen watches over the last ten years and has been very keen on a new pocket watch. I thought we'd move on - we'd spend $60 to $80 and this thing would be sold within a year and on top of that wouldn't it look good? We will buy again and again. But this time we've been diligently looking for the right part and believe that thanks to our research, the Charles Hubert brand will hold up well. We spent $110 to get a nice piece that should last this time. My husband has been using it every day since then. I'll try to post an additional comment in a year if things are still going. So far this is a really good buy. Five stars.
