Overall this is a great product. I used it for the first time today and blasted through my wheels in record time. Not only was it able to get into those hard-to-reach places, it's long enough to reach the other side of the wheel, ensuring ALL the brake dust is removed. The only downside, if there is one, is a lot of splatter from feedback from other reviews to share. If you brush those wheels like an unfaithful you'll get covered in suds from whatever soap/chemical you're using. No doubt. However, I quickly found that if I pulled the brush away from me when removing it, the mess went the other way. It also helps a lot to move slowly. I haven't used it on my rust plates yet but I won't hesitate when the time comes as it's soft enough not to scratch anything. And finally, when you're done, just rinse it off. Take a few puffs to drain the water and it's ready for storage. No need to wait for wool/cotton to dry. If you are in the market for one of these, no problem.
