I bought a house with a normal sized living room (okay, it's small). The house came prewired for surround sound and a colleague of mine who made a living from music recommended these speakers. He stated that the sound and quality couldn't be beat for the size and price. He was absolutely right. They are perfect for my living room which is about 12x15. I have this center speaker and two Polk Audio RC65i two-way speakers and two Polk Audio RC80i two-way speakers in the ceiling. By the way, I'm so glad someone put them in the ceiling. I've had several people tell me you can wall mount them. I didn't want shit hanging off my ceiling. I have higher ceilings, but they certainly aren't 20 foot ceilings. I wholeheartedly recommend speakers and hang them from the ceiling whenever possible.
