Recommended if you have high temperature areas (Florida, Puerto Rico, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, etc.) and don't need suction cups or sticky spots on your dashboard . Pros: This is a very good phone mount, very solid, hardly moves except what you want once you install it. The spring/grip clip is very strong (nearly ripped my nail off lol) but I'm also worried it will mark my dash. I also love how you can move it to see from different angles. Cons: I expected the dock (the way you put your phone in the docking position) to be a lockable knob in the open position. in the "out phone" position, but it's not. I wish the Spring release had an additional little tab to open for the dashboard as well. My dashboard is wedge shaped (about 20-30 degrees), it's not a perfect parallel edge top and bottom (like a tabletop). Road vibration causes the dash clip to come loose after about three to five 20 minute drives and I have to constantly readjust the position on the dash.
