Beautiful alpaca scarf, elegant in every way. Can be worn by both men and women. My wife and I love this scarf. It is medium dark gray in color and pairs well with smart casual wear as well as a semi-formal coat and tie. It is also ideal as business attire in the office on cool days. This is the ideal thickness. It is not subtle and not tangible. It is medium thick and tightly woven, so it folds and wraps easily, and is also comfortable and snug around the neck. It's not thick enough to feel too warm, or too difficult to tie a loose shawl knot. A young alpaca's wool is soft, not prickly like sheep's wool. It's not as light and soft as cashmere and I would say I prefer it to cashmere. It is denser and warmer than our cashmere scarves. The list price is quite modest, especially when compared to premium fashion brands; I've seen name brand scarves much less durable than this one that sell for a few hundred dollars; I think this scarf is great value for money. It can be a great gift for parents, grandparents and other adults in your life when they appreciate beautiful clothes and accessories and you don't know what to get them for their birthday or Christmas present. I received this scarf for free and this is a fair and honest review.
