I used to have perpetual motion machines and they were almost entirely made of plastic. As a result, they didn't last long and wore out fairly quickly. Because of this, I was a bit skeptical about this product when I first bought it. To my surprise, the device is quite well assembled. Bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter, boxed, arrived in perfect condition and on time. I took it out of the box to have a look and the circle part is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I was afraid it would be very small due to the high price, but it isn't. I really like these "perpetuum mobile" toys. My only complaint is that they drain the batteries pretty quickly. The 9V battery lasts an average work week if you remove the battery overnight. I wish these things came with an outlet, even if I had to supply my own adapter. Everyone knows that a perpetual motion machine is impossible, so there's no benefit in just running these things on battery power, as if trying to trick viewers into believing that this really is a perpetuum mobile.
