Review on 🪐 ScienceGeek Kinetic Electronic Art Asteroid by Hayden Hart

I really like these "perpetuum mobile" toys. My only complaint is that they drain the batteries pretty quickly. The 9V battery lasts an average work week if you remove the battery overnight. I wish these things came with an outlet, even if I had to supply my own adapter. Everyone knows that a perpetual motion machine is impossible, so there's no benefit in just running these things on battery power, as if trying to trick viewers into believing that this really is a perpetuum mobile. I modified an earlier toy like this to hard-wire a 9V power supply when I was less experienced with electronics. As for looks, yes the balls are plastic but they look really good. You can't get anything made entirely of stainless steel for this price!
