This camera is a newer version of another camera I tested; This is the best version for just a few dollars more. This camera is equipped with a touch screen with a sophisticated operating system. The graphics are sharper and the body design and control layout are sleek and ergonomic, more so than other cameras I've reviewed. This model, like some others, came with a directional microphone and included many other things including two batteries. As far as I can tell the batteries appear to be model specific so not interchangeable with similar devices. This camera has Wi-Fi bandwidth, although my experience with it so far has shown it to be slow and prone to intermittent dropouts, but works better when the device is closer to the signal source. There is also a remote control for those who prefer this type of control. The 30 megapixel images this camera can produce are of amazingly better quality than images captured 24/7, which is the best setting for most cameras in this price range. There's also a 16x zoom, giving you more flexibility in image composition. The only downside I would give this camera is that its touchscreen isn't as sharp as I'd like, probably a by-product of the streamlined design that required the touchscreen to be on the small side. In addition, for the price, this product is definitely of very good quality.
