I purchased a PS4 Slim that does not have the optical connector required for my PX4 Turtle Beach Surround Sound Headset. I was able to use this device for audio splitting, so now I don't have to buy another $100 pair of headphones. The only downside at the moment is that the video breaks when I use it on my projector. I'm going to test a few different cables to make sure it's not the same cable I'm using between my PS4, the adapter, the Yamaha receiver and the projector. It keeps trying to use the auto source even though I disabled it on the Yamaha projector and receiver.
