The first thing that struck me was how light it is. Upon initial inspection, I found a small dent in one of the cups. The finish on the outer surface was acceptable but there were deep machining marks on the inner surfaces as well as on the top of the rim. The rim of the mug was too thick and conducted heat, making it uncomfortable to drink hot coffee out of. The first time I tried hand washing the mug, I found that the opening of the mug only allows 3 fingers through. for washing, and the cup is so deep that (3) fingers and a washing sponge cannot reach the bottom. Worst of all, the edge was sharp enough to sever the tissue between my fingers. I am returning this product for a refund.
