These cables work VERY well IF you don't route them near electronics. Position them at least 30cm away from computers or electronics as this will pick up some noise in the signal going to the preamp. After moving it about 1.5 feet away from both of my monitors, the computer, and the audio receiver, it didn't pick up or transmit that very faint hum. I've been using this cable for my AT2020 XLR mic and Ben USB302 mixer amp and it's been working great for months so can't complain. Just try routing the cable in a different route than the other electronics, it's close by.
