I thought it was a trick, but it works!
I had this rock in my 0.5 gallon unfiltered fry tank. And it works great! I have some snails here as well as some plants so I know it works well with bio media. I managed to raise 3 cherry barbel spawn with no problem. I've never had trouble with cloudy water or balance issues. There is even algae growth and some planaria on my glass. Will repurchase when it's time for an exchange!
