I bought this for my daughter when her cat died. This is a very good size and weight. Not too big or bulky, but doesn't feel super light or cheap either. I had no problem putting the ashes in there. That's a small amount, but a lot more than just a few grains. The only thing that worries me is the little circle soldered to the heart, it doesn't look like it's well made. I worry that one day while she's wearing it, it might shatter and lose its heart along with the ashes. The surface seems to scratch quite easily, but so far the color has stayed true.
