This is a very good product. In fact, it turned out to be stronger than I expected. I wasn't sure we could afford a pet coffin but it's a very reasonable price for the quality. We have 2 Bichon Frize dogs and they are like our kids. Both are already retired. Our oldest has cancer at 14 and we bought him for the future. It means a lot to me to know that as a member of the family she will have a proper funeral. We owe her a debt of gratitude for all the love and joy she brought into our lives.

Urgent need aside, the main reason I bought it was that it was a lot cheaper than many alternatives. Now that I've used it I think I'll order it again in the future when other pets leave. Before purchasing this product, I made a box for my pets. But the cost of material, time and quality of work was not as sufficient as I had hoped. So we bought this pet box as our dear dog was close to death. It suited her. Both my wife and I were happy with how it worked.

Basically it's a molded plastic box. They charge way too much for it - although I bought 2 of these out of necessity. I could find nothing else to bury their beloved cats when they die. They probably shouldn't be asking more than $25 for them - and that's probably a fair premium for the few dollars they should cost to produce them. It makes an extreme difficult time only worse - although they cater to your needs if you want to bury your pet. sigh. :(

Two of my favorite Maltepu have been euthanized in the past few months. One was 18 and the other 14, but they had very serious illnesses and pains. I decided to bury them in the backyard between two juniper trees with very heavy rocks and markers on them. I ordered a medium size. Chelsea weighed 10 pounds and Jasper weighed 15 pounds. We ordered this for our 18 pound teenage dachshund. Gunther was not miniature and not standard. It was 26 inches long from the top of the forehead to the croup and about 12 inches from the bottom to the top of the back.
