Good in theory, not so good in practice. 2.5 stars ✨

This mirror wants to be really elegant. It has a mother-of-pearl finish with elegant swirls at the top, but it really just looks like a plastic makeup mirror that was supposed to come with one of those Barbie mannequin heads that little girls do their makeup and hair. The mirror has three lighting modes. , bright white, really yellow, and I'm guessing daylight, that's the only light I can see myself in it a little bit. Really, it's just awful looking in that mirror with the lights on. This is the first lighted mirror I know of. For some reason, the light seems to somehow obscure your face, or it's just not the right color or brightness, and you barely see yourself in the mirror. And no matter what mirror I want to look in, I have to take a mirror and put it in front of my face. And even then it seems to me that I am looking at the light and not at my light-lit face. Also, folding mirrors do not stay straight once folded when folded. I broke it and just live with it. And I find folding mirrors very awkward to look at myself in, with or without a light. Especially the bottom one with the highest magnification, which I think should have been right at the top. When I'm not lifting it I have to bend down to see the bottom one and then I can only see half my face when the light is on. The other half is in the shade, whether the light is on or off. The roof mirror is just as difficult to see as there is a lot of shadowing on one side of my face when the lights are on. It's just a clumsy design. This mirror seemed pretty good in theory, but due to the very poor design and lack of quality materials, it turned out to be almost useless. Each mirror is beautiful, clear and looks great on its own. You might consider recycling them, or a little girl might find a better use for this vanity mirror when playing dress up or learning how to do makeup. As I cannot look inside with the light on as it is intended to be used and I do not find it aesthetically pleasing to have it on display I will not be using it.
