Perfect replacement

Replaced the power steering high pressure line on my 2002 Nissan Maxima. Fits perfectly and I've been driving it for a year and a half with no problems. It costs at least 1/3 the price of most out there.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Hose fits OK Good for power steering

Howling noise after installation. I even added fluid before tightening the banjo bolt. I drain the liquid from the banjo area to try to get all the air out. more whining. I then went to my local mechanic and they evacuated the system to remove any air that might have been there. Still whining. But the steering wheel works perfectly.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Minor problems

Just buy this and get your Maxima back on the road

This seems to be the status quo when it comes to power steering lines, no other brand offers anything better, in fact almost every other brand is comparatively lacking. I got back on the road, very little noise from the pump, only at full lockdown which will probably wear off after a few turns from lock to lock.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Upgradeable

NO SOFT for pressure hoses

Perfect fit, not to mention NO SOFT. I don't know if people bleed properly or if it's a hose issue but I bled it for 15 minutes to make sure it was fully deflated and I had no problems and it was installed within 2 weeks. Would recommend to anyone especially if my Nissan dealer wanted 220 per hose.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Protection

Fits Infiniti I30 and works well

This item is not exactly the same as the original on my Infiniti I35. The middle clamp has a different design and setting. But so far he has done his job well. Since the new hose usually has a different bend than the old one, it is not easy to bend it offline again. When replacing the hose yourself, it is better to install (not fasten) the bottom screw first, and then the middle clamp. Leave the top screw (the lightest part) as the last step.

  • Hands Free Operation

  • Compatibility

Reasonable price and quality

The OEM part on my 2001 I30 had a flexible aluminum heat shield, Sunsong pat used a fabric heat shield with plastic straps. It doesn't matter to me as you can always use a flexible aluminum shield from an OEM part. I used it just like that but added extra turns of stainless wire. The new part also included two new washers for the banjo bolt and new rubber bushings and metal spacers for the top bracket. It also included a new cylinder block bracket, but I kept the existing one. After 300 miles…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Perfect replacement for the 2003 Nissan Maxima

I bought this for a 2003 Nissan Maxima which of course I bought recently as a used car. We'll see if it stands the test of time, but it was literally half the price of other alternatives. For me it was one person's work that took about an hour. To remove the old hose, I loosened the 24mm banjo bolt on the PS pump, drained it completely, and then removed the bolt. In the middle of the hose I didn't remove the bracket completely, just disconnected the hose from the bracket with a 10mm socket with
