Chair arrived well packaged and well protected. I knew from other reviews the screws were already there and I'd rather just have a hardware package so I don't have to take them out and then put them back in. I'm quite comfortable and boy did it take some patience to get the back and seat together by lining up the holes. All in all, assembly only took about 30 minutes. Now for consolation, I've been using the chair for several hours and to be honest it's not. all this is bad. When I sit I lean more and this chair lets you sit a little straight and erect because of the lumbar support which I guess I'll get used to. The recliner portion of the chair is fantastic and the high back rests right against my head (the old chair was in the middle of the back) so I can relax while watching movies on the computer. I'm 5'10 and the chair on the lowest level allows me to stand firmly on the floor while leaning slightly and allows my slide out keyboard tray to be closer but not fully extended due to the padding on the armrest to be. The seat cushion is firm yet comfortable and looks like it can take some abuse before the padding ever wears out. I'm about 180 and have about 4 inches of space between me and the armrests on either side, so I'm sure this chair can accommodate taller people, but note the weight limit is 250 pounds. UPDATE: It's been about a week now and the chair creaks when I recline. Will lube and retighten the bolts tomorrow to see if it stops. As far as I can tell the weak point of this chair is that the armrest only holds the seat up and down in the back with 2 screws on each side. I've had chairs that have failed with this design before, so I'm skeptical about the longevity of the chair. The lift mechanism and casters (for carpet) are excellent and appear to be of good quality. Would I buy again if this chair endures the abuse I usually give away for a year or more I would consider it a good buy and would buy it again.
