Okay, it all started when my kid lost a quarter for a dollar in a machine that promised her a fake diamond. But thanks to that I was able to give her a whole bag of diamonds of different colors! She is very happy with her new sweetheart and so am I, they are cute and colorful, just be careful how sharp one side is. Otherwise great for playing pirate treasure. :)

We wanted a "pearl" for a pirate treasure game. I looked at many similar items and it was hard to tell how big and heavy they were. They were a good size and weight that even small children could throw them. Good quality, love the color combo! They are shaped like a real "diamond" with a pointed back, not sharp but sure to keep anyone off target on wild throws.

I have spent some time looking for acrylic gems for my kids which are a good size, various colors and had a decent quality. Finally I took a chance and we liked it! The sides are smooth and are comfortable to hold. We received a pack of 30 that contained at least two of each color. They are fun and fun to play with and they sparkle more than I expected. Generally they look very nice, although some will have a "wavy" finish, probably due to a slightly underfilled mold, and almost all will have the small sprue common to all molded plastics.
