Our black labrador is about a year and a half and we used to take him without wellness seeds but he seemed to have an upset stomach. We switched to Blue Buffalo Wilderness and even though his stool wasn't liquid anymore, he just didn't seem to care. I ended up buying this brand due to lack of money because it still met all the standards we wanted and was $20 cheaper and our pup loved it. This is the first time I see him excitedly eating his food and no longer having an upset stomach. The granules are larger than the other two brands. But the price can't be beat, and the pockets are even bigger. We paid over $50 for 22 lb bags and only about $35 for 28 lb bags.
