Review on Enhance Your Vinyl Sound with Ortofon Replacement Stylus 10 by Daniel Truett

Bought as a replacement stylus for my Ortofon OM10 Super cartridge. Elliptical Rhombus. Excellent frequency response and channel separation. Only 1.5g of downforce and very little lateral force is required to prevent skidding. Comes in a neat little transparent cylindrical case with a stand for other Ortofon OM needles. Also comes with a pen protector that fits over the tip. Mine was purchased and made through Music Direct and was heavily repackaged but arrived quickly and intact. The pickup sounds like new again and my vinyl is happy. A highly recommended stylus for the OM series which represents an impressive range of Hi-Fi and DJ focused heads each with unique qualities. I'm not a DJ but I love my vinyl and I have a decent setup. The OM Super cartridge has been discontinued so I would recommend getting one asap while they are still available as NOS. While you're at it, buy an extra pen. The OM10 is excellent value for money, it's not a bare diamond like the OM20 but still sounds great with an excellent frequency response (<20kHz). After about ten hours of running, it's at its peak. Made in Denmark. Original OEM replacement.
