We bought mainly for children. The plates are a good size and durable. What we really like is the high hem that prevents food from splattering on the floor, table or lap. We've washed it in the dishwasher - air dried and reheated the food in the microwave for 30 seconds with no issues or issues. .They held up very well even when dropped on a hard floor and got our recommendation. We will make another purchase.
