I love the quality of this mattress - it was packaged very well and the quilted cover is beautiful. However, I did a lot of research before deciding on this mattress and read the reviews in detail. . Based on most of the reviews and even the product description itself, I figured this mattress would be medium soft. If you are looking for a luxurious and soft bed, I do not recommend this one. Very good quality but very stiff and uncomfortable. I guess now I'll spend even more money on a memory foam topper to try. cozy. UPDATE: I bought a 3 inch memory foam topper to put on my mattress. It's a little more comfortable now, but you can definitely feel the stiffness from the topper. Still not a fan; I will look for a replacement mattress as soon as I can afford it. Waking up in this bed after a week isn't something I want to live with much longer, mind you!
