I bought these hooks to hold my own curls. It wasn't possible during the first part of this pandemic, and while they're designed to do that now, they work GREAT! I've been able to tame my curls and not look like a wild woman while I wait for this pandemic to subside. They are well made and feel good in the hand. Well made and good price. Many Thanks.

I bought a set of snap hooks and read the reviews before buying and one of the main complaints was that the tool itself was just awful. I went ahead and bought this kit so I didn't have to deal with what came in the kit and I'm very glad I did. It's comfortable to hold, easy to use and much better quality than the cheap plastic hook that came with the kit which I've only used once to see how good it is. Bought these to make a snap mat for a friend who is having a girl. It went through this project but broke - the latch just popped off the hook - in the middle of another rug I was sewing for the baby's older brothers. (Because if you make one for a kid, you have to make one for his older siblings too ;) ) I've also found that they are too big for 3.75 mesh rugs.
