I initially ordered 1 pack to test the yarn and was satisfied with the quality. Came back to order 4 more packs of different colors for my daughter. Beautiful colors and seems to suit her well to make bracelets.

They have exactly the colors they said and what I needed but as others have said the thread is a little coarse and doesn't fit. But it worked for a project I needed, and during this pandemic I'm having a hard time reaching craft stores I don't drive to.

Product was sold as DMC branded yarn which was misleading. It's actually Le Paon brand, it's thicker than DMC brand and not as soft. I would have given it a higher rating if I hadn't planned on using DMC brand filament because it's good value for money. But misleading marketing is wrong and now I have to buy a whole different package from a different seller.

I have other Le Peon threads but I really wanted to do coffee themed embroidery so I ordered this kit. The yarn is 100% cotton and won't bleed or discolor in the wash, but its surface is slightly less smooth than regular DMC yarn (DMC treats cotton yarn with a solution that gives it a smooth, slightly shiny finish, so if you keeping it close together, slightly noticeably different) which I really like gives my stitches a softer, fluffier shape.

This Embroidery Thread 🧵 is the same quality as the individual skeins of thread you can find at JoAnn's. It has a similar silky look and feel. I was expecting it to be stiffer and rougher in texture and appearance than the cheaper yarn sets you can get, but it isn't. big pack with many colors.) I bought this thread to make flexible dolls (and accessories) and it was perfect for making different skin tone dolls. Highly recommended for various projects.

I have ordered several sets of these colors as well as a starter set that was not as high quality (as advertised for children). These paint sets offer an excellent range of vibrant colours. They also have a nice sheen. If you try to match a color like I did for a project, the colors will be slightly different from the pictures, just like trying to match a fiber. I use these to make tassels for zip bags so they work great once brushed. Wire brush for dog hair and much cheaper than dmc brand dental floss. BUT they are a little stiffer initially and may not lend themselves as well to real cross stitching and embroidery. I haven't tried that yet. The price can't be beat if you need a lot of filament. Most likely it will be perfect for friendship bracelets.
