Great thread for embroidery!
I have other Le Peon threads but I really wanted to do coffee themed embroidery so I ordered this kit. The yarn is 100% cotton and won't bleed or discolor in the wash, but its surface is slightly less smooth than regular DMC yarn (DMC treats cotton yarn with a solution that gives it a smooth, slightly shiny finish, so if you keeping it close together, slightly noticeably different) which I really like gives my stitches a softer, fluffier shape.
